Senior Backend Software Engineer – Python
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Well funded growth stage FinTech company that has built a platform used by some of the leading banks and financial institutions is seeking to add 2 Senior Engineers to their team. These hires will contribute to the design and development of their Software Platform.
Tech Stack: Python, AWS, Linux, Docker, Microservices, Aurora, Lambda, MySQL, Kubernetes, Javascript, Github, etc.
Skills/Requirements:
• Deep background in Python development
• Design, build and engineering of products from AWS infrastructure/platform services to backend code to browser and everything between is a plus
• Django or Flask is a plus
• Ability to creating software that is scalable, robust, testable, easy to maintain and deploy.
• FinTech or Banking a plus
• Experience with modern open source thinking and tools (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD, containers, DevOps, etc.).
• Kubernetes is a plus
• Solid database skills (i.e. MySQL, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB)
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or real-world experience.
