Job Description and Work:

We have been engaged on a key search effort by an award winning commercial focused consulting firm that specializes in product strategy, design, & development of Enterprise Mobile, SaaS/Cloud Platform & Big Data, and Customer Experience. They are seeking a Manager of Business Development to identify potential accounts, developing account entry strategies, lead prospecting campaigns, develop relationships and understanding the customerís critical business strategies, and collaborate across the organization working with a team of subject matter experts to create and execute a solution to achieve the customerís business objectives.


  • 5+ years of direct B2B business development and sales experience in the mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies.
  • History of new business development selling consulting and professional services.
  • Comfortable and confident in executive level conversations.
  • Demonstrable sales success through prospecting and growing revenue in multiple accounts.
  • An understanding of business strategy and vertical industry market forces.
  • Experience with a broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve months).
  • History of career stability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including self-motivation, enthusiasm and a sense of urgency.
  • Formal sales training.
  • Bachelorís degree required, advanced degree a plus.
  • Knowledge of current business and emerging technology trends.
